Principal FiduciaryI am an estate planning and administration professional in Portland, Oregon. I moved here from Washington in 2013 to work as a litigation attorney for a law firm. I decided that litigation was not the right fit for me and took a position as a trust officer for a local trust company in 2015, which exposed me to the world of trust and estate administration and gave me a breadth of experience with different types of fiduciary relationships. In 2018, I earned my Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation from the American Bankers Association. In 2019, I decided to gain more in-depth legal experience with trusts and estates, so I went back into practice as a lawyer and learned how to draft estate plans from some of the smartest lawyers in town.
I founded Succession PDX because, after working as an estate planning attorney and as a trust officer at a corporate trust company, I became frustrated with the limited number of professional fiduciaries in Oregon, making it difficult for regular families and individuals to get the help they need. I combine my experience in estate planning and administration, along with my genuine and disarming nature, to be your best advocate and quarterback in developing and administering your estate plan.

Lauren Covey
As the Office Manager for Succession PDX, Lauren specializes in coordinating multiple interrelated tasks, deadlines, and communications, optimizing workflows, and owning execution so the team can stay focused on their core priorities. Her commitment to the fiduciary community extends to her role as the administrative support anchor for the Guardians/Conservators Association of Oregon (GCA), where she keeps organizational operations running seamlessly. Backed by a decade of experience as an Executive Assistant, Lauren brings a versatile background spanning business operations, internal communications, and event execution across corporate, nonprofit, and private settings. She is a Public Notary and holds a degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Oregon, utilizing her diverse background to help Succession PDX function at its absolute best.

Bryson Rowlett
With over seven years of experience as a care coordinator and financial case manager, Bryson focuses on guiding families and individuals through the complexities of conservatorships, trusts, and estates. His commitment to the fiduciary profession extends to the community, where he actively serves on the board of the Guardians/Conservators Association of Oregon (GCA). As a National Certified Guardian, Public Notary, and former Personal Support Worker (PSW) with over a decade of hands-on experience, he draws on a strong grounding in fiduciary bookkeeping and administration—backed by studies at Portland State University—to provide meaningful, effective, and reliable service for Succession PDX clients.
